Daoud Bacha - Meatballs in tomato sauce


Spiced meatballs cooked in a rich tomato sauce with sautéed onions and toasted pine nuts. Served with vermicelli rice.

    Gluten, Nuts

    Minced beef, chopped tomatoes, rice, vermicelli, olive oil, onion, pine nuts,  salt, black pepper

    In the Microwave (900W): Heat meatballs for 2 min. Add vermicelli rice and heat for another minute. Timings vary depending on your appliance.

    On the hob: Empty meatballs into pan. Cover it and simmer for 5-6 min, stirring occasionally. Add rice to another saucepan along with a splash of water. Stir occasionally until warmed through.
